Sandy Oppenheimer is a self-taught artist who "paints with paper." Her artistic journey began in ceramics in California, then moved to Italy where she created watercolors while exploring the Tuscan hills. She spent three months at an artist residency in Mino City, Japan, a village known for paper making, where she switched from brushes to scissors and started using paper artistically. She discovered that working with paper presented similar challenges to painting but added the joy of patterns and textures. Now back in California, she has spent years developing her artistic skills and enjoys sharing her knowledge of collage while helping others with their creative challenges.www.sandyoppenheimercollage.com/
